This disclaimer is for the BulkMode Application, referred to here as the "Application." You need to agree to these terms (the "Disclaimer Terms") to use the Application. If You disagree with or do not understand any of these Disclaimer Terms, do not use the Application. By using the Application, You agree to be legally bound by these Disclaimer Terms.

2. Limitations of BulkMode's Information and Feedback

Through the Application, We provide information and evidence-based feedback that is designed for educational and general information purposes only.

This information and feedback is not medical advice, medical nutrition therapy, or individualized nutrition counseling and the Owner cannot guarantee the suitability of such information or feedback.

The Application does not provide medical advice or medical nutrition therapy, and while it may be personalized based on Your inputs, it is not a substitute for individual evaluation or treatment by a healthcare professional. Therefore the Application and its Owner cannot guarantee the safety or nutritional adequacy of Your dietary intakes.

3. Metabolism Intelligence System

The Application includes a Metabolism Intelligence System that learns Your metabolic rate over time by analyzing Your food intake and weight changes. This system provides personalized calorie and macronutrient targets and may recommend adjustments based on Your progress. You should understand the following:

• Algorithmic estimates only: The Metabolism Intelligence System uses mathematical formulas and statistical models to estimate Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). These are approximations based on general nutrition science research, not clinical measurements of Your individual metabolism.
• Learned data is not clinical data: When the system "learns" from Your intake and weight data, it is applying automated data analysis algorithms to estimate trends. This is fundamentally different from clinical metabolic testing (e.g., indirect calorimetry or metabolic panel blood work).
• Weight gain rate guidelines are general estimates: The Application may reference target weight gain rates. These figures are based on general nutrition and exercise science research. Individual results vary significantly based on genetics, training history, hormones, sleep, stress, and many other factors the Application cannot assess.
• Cannot account for medical factors: The system cannot account for medical conditions, medications, hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, metabolic disorders, food allergies, nutrient absorption issues, or any other individual health factors that affect Your metabolism or nutritional needs.
• All recommendations are optional: Every calorie or macronutrient adjustment recommended by the Metabolism Intelligence System can be declined or overridden. You are never required to accept any recommendation.

4. AI-Generated Nutritional Estimates

The Application uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos and estimate calorie and macronutrient content. These AI-generated estimates:

• Are approximations only and may not be 100% accurate
• May vary from actual nutritional values due to portion size variations, food preparation methods, ingredient differences, and limitations of visual analysis
• Should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements, allergies, or conditions requiring precise nutritional tracking
• Can be manually edited or overridden by You at any time

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any AI-generated nutritional estimate before relying on it. If You have specific dietary requirements due to a medical condition, allergy, or intolerance, do not rely solely on the Application's estimates.

5. Consulting Healthcare Professionals

Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions or making any changes to Your dietary habits or calorie intake. Be especially careful if You are adjusting the Application's recommended calorie targets.

If You meet any of the following criteria, consult a qualified healthcare expert before using the Application and continue checking in with them regularly while You use it:

• You are underweight (BMI below 18.5)
• You are recovering from illness, surgery, or an injury
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding
• You are using medication that affects appetite or metabolism
• You have any medical condition, disease, or disorder that is directly or indirectly related to nutrition, metabolism, or how You see Your body

• Extra caution is advised when following any calorie increase recommendations, especially if You have not consulted a healthcare professional
• You are solely responsible for determining whether any recommended calorie target or dietary adjustment is appropriate for Your current health status

You knowingly and voluntarily accept, and assume responsibility for, each of these risks and dangers, and all other risks and dangers that could arise out of, or occur during, the use of the Application.

By using the Application, You agree not to hold BulkMode, along with its officers, partners, affiliates, representatives, employees, and agents responsible for any and all liability, responsibility, expenses, claims, or damages due to injuries, including attorney's fees and costs, incurred due to or caused by Your use of the Application.
